These rules cover Roleplay concepts and guidelines that are crucial for appropriate gameplay within ELITEACE.

Failing to adhere to these rules could result in administrative penalties, potentially leading to the removal of the user from the community."

1. POWERGAMING (PG)

PowerGaming or PG is to perform actions that are impossible in real life. This includes forcing roleplay or actions on another player; abusing roleplay commands like /me, and taking advantage of GTA V game circumstances that would be unrealistic. PG also includes not roleplaying your character's reactions and feelings, such as fear, in a realistic manner.

Prohibitions:

  • Prohibited to unrealistically climb mountains/steep structures with vehicles (Includes Sanchez, 4x4 trucks, buggies, etc.)​
  • Prohibited to use supercars at high speed on dirt roads.​
  • Prohibited to perform uninterrupted jumps on a bicycle to achieve unrealistic speed.​
  • Prohibited Bunny Hop. Jumping multiple times to increase character speed.​
  • Prohibited to drive with at least 1 flat tire for more than 300 meters or 30 seconds.​
  • Prohibited to roleplay cameras that are not physically mapped at the location.​
  • Prohibited to roleplay kidnappings of non-real people (NPCs) or imaginary ones.​

1.1 VALUING LIFE
Users must value their character's physical integrity in every situation.

Prohibitions

  • Prohibited to use a knife or fists against a person with a firearm.
  • Prohibited to attack a group of people alone or in evident disadvantage. Also applies to government officials.
  • Prohibited to perform actions dangerous to the character, e.g., jumping into water or off cliffs in pursuit.

1.2 ANTI-ROLEPLAY ATTITUDE

"Anti-roleplay attitude" refers to any action that hinders the proper development of a roleplay situation.

Users, through their characters, must interpret the different contexts of situations and feelings. Hence, prohibitions based on this rule are listed.

Prohibitions

  • Prohibited to go with sports cars or formal/executive clothes to graffitis.
  • Prohibited to dance, insult, mock, etc., next to corpses/injured on public roads.
  • Prohibited to rob with Luxury dealership vehicles (including Jugular and Shinobi)
    Theft is the crime in which someone appropriates something from another using violence or intimidation.

1.2.2 ROLEPLAY EVASION
continuation of a roleplay is paramount; the continuation and appropriate conclusion of roleplay interactions should always be prioritized.

Prohibitions

  • Prohibited to disconnect with the intention of evading roleplay. This includes "connection drops".
  • Prohibited to disconnect at the moment of receiving system crimes.
  • Prohibited to disconnect before being finished off.
  • Prohibited to disconnect in an interior with active roleplay. Must wait inside for a minimum of 10 minutes.
Exceptions
In case of events beyond the user's control (internet drops, connection, PC malfunction), clear evidence must be presented and reported via Discord (#general-chat) that they have crashed. Upon returning to the game, they must immediately report via /report​





1.3 Bad Driving (BD)
Unrealistic driving or outside roleplay standards will be considered as PowerGaming.

Prohibitions:


  • Prohibited to intentionally collide the vehicle against objects. (traffic lights, signs, etc.).
  • Prohibited to drive in the opposite direction without a valid motive and necessity.
These rules apply to LEOs (police) in pursuits, where road safety must be roleplayed and speed reduced in busy areas. The first patrol in the queue is exempted as it provides information to other units.

2. METAGAMING (MG)

Metagaming or MG is using OOC (Out of Character) information in IC (In Character) situations that can affect the development of the role.

Prohibitions:

  • Using information obtained in the community to find specific characters within the game.
  • Exchanging information via Discord to benefit your character.
  • Characters created on the same account cannot have any relationship between them, and this will be considered MG, therefore, the transfer of money between characters of the same account is not allowed.
  • Prohibited to use voice servers (Discord, TeamSpeak, Skype, etc.) for in-player communications. (IN-GAME RADIO IS ALLOWED)

3. DEATHMATCH (DM)

Deathmatch or DM is the act of violently attacking a user without a valid IC (in character) reason or interaction. This includes all forms of violence, such as the use of weapons, vehicles, and verbal provocations to attack other users.

Force must escalate according to the roleplay situation, it is not logical to kill someone over an insult. It must follow logic, for example: Insult leads to threat, threat to showing weapons, and showing the weapon to its use.

Prohibitions

  • Prohibited to run over another user or vehicle without a valid reason.
  • Prohibited to insult other users via chat/microphone without any reason.
  • Prohibited to attack another user because you do not like their clothing.
  • Prohibited to go to other areas of groups, gangs, or others with the intention of seeking a conflict without a roleplay reason that justifies it.
  • Prohibited to use insults and offensive language as provocation for other users to initiate a DM conflict.
  • Prohibited to roleplay mental issues, terrorist behavior, paramilitary groups, guerrillas, racist or xenophobic conduct solely for the purpose of committing DM.
3.1 VEHICLE DEATHMATCH (VDM)

VDM refers to the use of the vehicle as a weapon to harm.

Prohibitions

  • Ramming another vehicle with the intention of harming users
  • Directing the vehicle towards players with the intention of harming them.
Exceptions
If a person initiates an aggressive role with weapons against a vehicle's occupant. The driver may use the quickest escape route to safeguard their or others' lives, so if the user is pointing directly at the vehicle, the driver may run over the user if it's the only escape alternative.

4. NEW LIFE RULE (NLR)

In NLR, a homicide is not roleplayed as such; when a NLR is performed, it is assumed that the person was severely injured and goes to the hospital. The user receiving the NLR must roleplay arriving at the hospital with the injuries that caused their critical state but without remembering anything of the role that led to that state. Therefore, they couldn't seek revenge, comment on it, or follow up on the role on their own (if another person saw the role, they can remind the affected user how they ended up in the hospital).

Consideration: When someone receives a NLR, it prevents them from returning to the same role where they received it but does not exclude them from the conflict between organizations. It is roleplayed as a short-term memory loss from their defeat that does not include forgetting conflicts that had happened previously.

In the case of law enforcement (LSPD, BCSD, and LSAF) if they perform a NLR, it must be roleplayed that another agent was seriously injured, who by roleplay environment would have a similar rank.

5. REVENGEKILL (RK)

RevengeKill or RK is the act of taking vengeance on the user(s) who participated in the death of your character.

The assassinated character cannot return to the area where the death occurred for at least 30 minutes or until the end of the roleplay by the other involved users.

This rule applies exclusively when your character is completely killed and does not apply if they only fall into an ‘injured’ state and are assisted by other characters.

LEOs (police) can return to the scene after 5 minutes of their death, as the public force is interpreted as "unlimited" in the environment.

6. CHARACTERKILL (CK)

CharacterKill or CK is the permanent death of a character, meaning they cannot be used again. The conditions for this can be:
  • The user's own decision. A user can role-play the death of their character as long as it's in an appropriate role and not forced.
    It is a completely voluntary decision by the “affected” party, so they have the right to accept or reject the role that ends with their character's elimination. If accepted, the user has two (2) alternatives: eliminate the character or change their name. If the role changes drastically, for instance, from being a person belonging to a government Organization to belonging to an Illegal Organization, or vice versa, this person must undergo a CK or have to purchase another player slot.
  • Due to the accumulation of crimes. A user who maintains a high number of federal crimes could (through the corresponding role) end up with a life sentence, which is executed as a CK.​

7. SAFE ZONES

It is prohibited to commit crimes or violently provoke other users (IC) within "safe zones".

"Safe zones" include the following:
  • In apartment towers, offices or warehouses (reception, exterior and interior parking, surroundings.) [The interior of an apartment as such is not a safe zone.]
  • Workplaces (lumberjack, fisherman, miner, garbage collector, truck driver, farming)​
  • Government buildings (department buildings, police stations, fire stations, hospitals, prisons, and city hall)​
  • Events. Any events held by users are considered safe zones.​
It is allowed to continue a role situation in a safe zone if the crime was initiated in a location outside of that zone. This applies only in ACTIVE roleplay. It is prohibited to end an aggressive roleplay in a safe zone if it started minutes or hours ago in another place. Safe zones should be interpreted as areas with a high number of police and citizens present, therefore, it would be a poor interpretation to execute an assassination in these places.

8. ADVERTISEMENTS

Advertisements are classifieds that, by interpretation, go through a filter to be sent to the city's network, in which only the following items can be published.
Requirements
  • Provision of legal services​
  • Announcing city events or parties.​
  • Legal job offers​
Prohibitions

  • Prohibited to buy or sell coins or coin items.
  • Prohibited to seek or offer illegal services.
  • Prohibited to seek or offer weapons or drugs
  • Prohibited to seek or offer companies or illegal groups (referring to gangs, groups, mafias, MCs, etc.)
  • Prohibited to seek or offer any item in a disguised manner or with double intention.
  • Prohibited to seek people or groups related to a gathering of people.
  • Prohibited to use words like "nerf", "family", etc. or ads with double meanings like “Buy/Sell stuff”.

9. CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION

All players must create a realistic character using the customization system.

Administrators may require the user to modify their character if any feature is considered unrealistic or unsuitable for the server environment.

Characters must wear attire appropriate to the role environment; therefore, the use of obscene or insulting outfits in public spaces is prohibited.

This rule prohibits intentionally causing the character's body to be invisible through the abuse of clothing bugs.

10. OFFENSIVE ROLES

“Offensive role” is considered any act among players that may be uncomfortable or inappropriate for any of the participants. These include: sexual acts, torture, dismemberment, or detailed description of injuries, among others. [Also considered offensive roleplay is ramming or chasing a user with comments (IC) of a sexual, provocative nature, or referring to any sexual act. This will be sanctioned with a ban of up to 60 days.]

These roles are completely optional and require the OOC (out of character) approval of all participants before the role is carried out.

All players (OOC) and game characters (IC) involved in a sexual role must be over 18 years old. This must be agreed upon by both parties.

Offensive and sexual roles must be conducted in private and cannot be in public areas or in places where other players unrelated to the role may be.

Players participating in an offensive role may withdraw at any time, even if they previously agreed to participate.

The role of cannibalism, necrophilia, ****philia, and zoophilia is prohibited under any circumstance.

11. ROBBERIES

"Robberies" are defined as any assault on a character to take the money they have in hand at that moment. These must occur in non-public places. A maximum of $9,000 is allowed to be stolen from a character by the same user or group of users within 24 hours.​

Requirements
  • Robberies can only be performed using the "R" - Rob menu (must be a member of an illegal organization).
  • Prohibited to conduct robberies in public places, transited areas, or near a governmental building. (see safe zones)
  • To perform a robbery, a minimum level of 5 is required. Includes all participants.
Prohibitions

  • Prohibited to rob users while they are working, including transportation jobs (e.g., trucker or garbage collector). This also includes jobs of taxi or mechanic organizations.
  • Prohibited to rob legal (including clothing) or illegal items. This includes items in properties, trunks, on the ground, or in users' inventory.
  • Prohibited to ram players (in public or private areas) just to rob them, as it is not considered appropriate roleplay action, since it is unrealistic.
  • Prohibited to ram players in houses/residences/blocks to rob them. It is considered a poor character interpretation to rob in the same block or environmental area.
  • Prohibited to perform multiple "chain" robberies as it is considered unrealistic.
  • Prohibited to use rental vehicles (aerial or maritime) in robberies of establishments.

11.1 SCAMS:
A "scam" is defined as any act that seeks to take a sum of money from a character without assaulting them. The scam must be carried out through deception, and violence or intimidation cannot be used before executing the scam.

A maximum of $15,000 is allowed to be scammed from a character by the same user or group of users within 24 hours.

If a scammed person realizes once the scam is concluded, they may initiate an aggressive role against the scammer(s), where they can recover the total or partial money (in case the user to whom they gave the money no longer has all of it). This role can only occur within the first 30 minutes after the scam and is a single interaction (it cannot go beyond what is indicated at this point).​

Requirements
  • Scams involving properties are prohibited. This includes apartments, houses, businesses, and vehicles.
  • Scams involving weapons and drugs are allowed and have no maximum limit.
  • In these types of roles, graphic evidence (video with sound) must be available to support reports. If the reported kidnapper/scammer does not have evidence of the role's progression, they will be deemed guilty and sanctioned accordingly.
Prohibitions
  • Prohibited to use violence or intimidation in the role of scam.
  • [Prohibited to scam in safe zones and inside apartments.]
  • Prohibited to use CharacterKill (CK) to carry out any type of scams or avoid debt payments. Using this method will result in permanent expulsion from the community and the return of the scammed money or items.

11.2 KIDNAPPINGS: Money deliveries in kidnappings or robberies must be carried out properly through the server's legal entities, such as the police.

Requirements

  • To carry out a kidnapping, a minimum level of 7 is necessary. Includes all participants.
  • The kidnapped user must be at least level 5.
  • Kidnappers must be part of an illegal organization.
  • In these types of roles, unedited graphic evidence (video with sound) must be available to support reports. If the reported kidnapper/scammer does not have evidence of the role's progression, they will be deemed guilty and sanctioned accordingly.
Prohibitions

  • Prohibited to kidnap high ranks of legal organizations (Ranks 8 or higher), except for a role previously approved by the administration.
  • Prohibited to perform PK (PlayerKill) on the kidnapped in case of cooperation, except with prior approval by the staff.
  • Prohibited to perform multiple "chain" kidnappings as it is considered unrealistic.
  • Prohibited to hold a user as a “hostage” for more than 30 minutes, except if the user (kidnapped) approves an extension of time via /b.
  • Prohibited not to follow a logical interpretation or planning when simulating a kidnapping with the purpose of carrying out a robbery.

11.3 LOANS:

Although loans are allowed, they are not recommended due to their high risk. Responsibility for any loss in a loan falls exclusively on the lender [loss of money] and debtor [account blockage].

Requirements for loans:
  • Before making a loan, basic due diligence must be performed to verify that the user has assets (vehicles or properties).
  • All parties must be at least level 8.
  • Documentation and evidence must be taken at the time of the loan.
  • The loan must be supported by an IC signed document specifying the amounts, agreement, and payment dates. The IC document must be realistic and logical, i.e., it cannot demand paying a high amount in a few days.
  • Before executing the loan, both users must read and understand Rule 11.3 at eliteace.net/forums/forums/rules/ on loans, and must confirm their acceptance via a chat message (/b) that includes the phrase [OOC: (("I accept Rule 11.3 at eliteace.net/forums/forums/rules/ on loans and accept the risks as a debtor (ban) and lender (total loss of money)"))].


Before making a report:
  • Before making a report, all the mentioned requirements must be met.
  • A solution or agreement with the debtor should be sought through an in-game (IC) conversation.
  • Any report that does not include evidence of attempts to resolve or contact the debtor IC will be closed.
  • It should be understood that there will be no refund of the money.
  • If the report is accepted, the debtor will be permanently blocked.


Appeals:
  • If the debtor appeals, their appeal may take between 30 to 90 days and unlocking is not guaranteed.
  • Money, properties, or vehicles will be removed. If this does not cover the loaned amount, the debtor will not be unlocked.
  • Under no circumstances will the money be refunded to the lender.

12. BUILDING AND PROPERTY RULES

The apartment customization system must be used realistically and in accordance with Roleplay Rules.

Structures and furniture must be placed sensibly. Furniture should not be floating in the air, nor should they go through walls, or be hidden behind other structures.

Shelves, furniture, and refrigerators must be visible and not covered by other furniture/structures.

The use of furniture/structures to create obscene or insulting figures is prohibited.

Abuse of the customization system is considered "bug abuse" and is subject to permanent expulsion from the community.​


12.1 PROPERTIES

  • Vehicles must be interpreted appropriately. Using luxury vehicles for robberies is considered poor roleplaying (see rule 1.2).
  • Aircraft must be parked at the airport or heliport.
  • Small aircraft can be TEMPORARILY parked in places with enough space outside the urban radius. It is not allowed to do so on streets or avenues.
  • Misuse of aircraft can result in their removal without the right to refund.

12.2 RESALE OF PROPERTIES AND ACTIVITY

Houses in EliteAce are a finite and limited resource. With the interest of maintaining a circular economy and giving people the opportunity to buy properties without paying exorbitant prices due to reselling. To maintain a manageable inflation rate, the following rules for property resale, activity, and purchase exist:​

  • It is prohibited to sell properties at resale prices above 50% of the original price. That is, if a property was acquired for 1,000,000, the maximum resale price cannot be more than $1,500,000. ($500,000 to be paid to the owner for property release + $1,000,000 of the property cost by the system.) THIS MAY CHANGE IN THE FUTURE

  • It is prohibited to create secondary accounts to buy properties with the intent of reselling them in the future.
  • Inactive houses are automatically deleted after 60 days. The activity must be of the owner, not of shared keys.
  • Owners of houses with low activity (less than 1 hour per week) will be notified and the house will go on an inactivity list to be subsequently put back on sale.
  • Renting properties with the intention of selling them at a price above what this regulation indicates is prohibited.

13. RULES FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND FACTIONS

  • Organizations in EliteAce will be removed from the system after receiving 3 warnings. These are given if a high number of members or high ranks break any rule.
  • Alliance in EliteAce systems (graffiti, sales points, trafficking missions, etc.) is prohibited. This means that they cannot ally with another organization and together participate in the capture or control of these systems.
  • Aggressive alliance with appropriate prior roleplay is acceptable. With a maximum of 26 members in total and 3 organizations.
  • All objects or resources (without exception) obtained by organization catalogs (Krapea, Business Dealership, among others) must be used solely for the interpretation of the respective organization. Therefore, the transfer, gift, or sale of any such object or resource is prohibited.
  • With exceptions approved by the Administration, police corruption and in any governmental organization is totally prohibited. The assignment of roles must be closely those committed, the assignment of invalid roles is considered corruption.
  • Misuse/abuse of the systems corresponding to each organization is prohibited.
  • It is prohibited to acquire companies with the purpose of obtaining more vehicle slots or houses for personal use.

13.1 GRAFFITI ZONE OR WEAPONS SALE

  • In the GRAFFITI ZONE, the use of firearms BEFORE or DURING capture is not allowed, only melee weapons, e.g., knives, bats, axes, knuckledusters, etc.
  • These are not considered RED ZONES. While it is a DANGEROUS zone. Where the police will not assist, DM is PROHIBITED.
  • It is not allowed to use any healing item (bandages, painkillers, medical kit, joints, among others) if there are disturbances in the area or during a confrontation.

14. CHAT RULES FOR VOICE AND TEXT

Voice chat is 100% IC (in-character). Its use will always represent the character's voice, and at no time can it be used as the OOC (out-of-character) voice of the player.

Under no circumstances can a player use this voice chat to discuss OOC topics unless authorized by a staff member.

The use of OOC chat (/B) is exclusively for important clarifications within roleplay in a respectful manner. Any criticism, complaint, offense, or threat of report is prohibited. Only a STAFF member can stop a roleplay situation. The OOC chat (!!) of organizations must be regulated by leaders for exclusive clarification use.​

Prohibitions:

  • Speaking OOC, shouting, or mic spamming is prohibited.
  • Shouting in public places without proper roleplay reason is prohibited.
  • Playing music through the microphone in any circumstance is prohibited.
The only permitted language for communication through text or voice chat is English (since it is interpreted that we are in a city in the United States, the adopted language is English for server playability).

14.2 MUSIC EQUIPMENT

  • Music cannot be played in busy places, apartment tower entrances, or offices.
  • Playing obscene music in public places is prohibited.

16. BLOCKING ELITEACE SYSTEMS

It is strictly prohibited to camp and/or block any system provided by ELITEACE. For example:​

  • NPCs.
  • Graffitis.
  • Workshops.
    • Blocking workshops or repair points is prohibited; however, interaction with a mechanic is necessary if present. Otherwise, it will be considered RP evasion.
  • Houses
    • Blocking house purchases under any circumstances is prohibited. Asking a user to "sell" their house for reasons related to "blocking" or "environment" is invalid and outside the parameters of reality.
  • Vehicles
    • Blocking a vehicle in a garage or depot is prohibited. Dumping them into the water leads to a severe penalty.
  • Mission access
    • Obstructing passage or normal flow of any mission is prohibited.
It is possible to roleplay perfectly in these areas, and even with appropriate roleplay, "taking over" a Workshop through concessions granted by the Organizations team is allowed, but blocking users from using the workshop systems is prohibited. This logic also applies to "drug dealers" or "weapons dealers" (NPCs), with the exception that camping in these areas is not allowed.​
